Earthbound was started in 2020 to build on the approach to storytelling Derek Mead developed during prior runs as editor-in-chief of both Motherboard and VICE. Our focus is telling stories right at the inflection point between science fiction speculation and mainstream understanding.
We are currently working on projects spanning writing, IP acquisition and development, and full-scale production across film, serial, and digital. We also have a deep level of experience in digital campaigns and brand development for select brand partners.
